I just wanted to share something that has happened in the last 24 hours.
3 CEO clients have asked us for help them – all in the last 24 hours. They want help to manage the impact of Brexit on their people.
Truthfully, I was a little shocked and surprised, as I was half expecting clients to want to ‘pull’ training and stop investing in their people altogether.
I have been asked for interventions around:
- “De-stressing the Leadership Team” – strategies for managing stress in the workplace
- “Precision Leadership” – Managing difficult people and situations
- “Managing chaos in change” – Working together when the only constant is change
These are the broad headings, but I’m sure you get the idea.
One client has asked us to do some stuff around stress for the leadership team (in the context of Brexit and future planning and pulling together as a cohesive leadership team).
One has asked for their managers to be helped to manage some difficult behaviour and conflict in the team (team members are pulling against each other based on how they voted).
And one has asked for help around the now chaos they are feeling as a business and how to work through emotional change.
Effectively, they have asked us to facilitate some mini-workshops with their people within the business to ensure business as usual continues as best as possible in these uncertain times.
I’d love to know if Brexit has affected or influenced anything you’re doing internally and what impact it’s having on your people?
